On this page we post articles and items that we hope will help parents to support children's learning at home and a continuity with what we do at the nursery school.
Music and singing are important and therefore we want you to know the songs that we use when we gather for Bible stories.

Praises we sing together
Tell me the stories of Jesus A little talk with Jesus makes it right, alright Deep and wide, deep and wide, there’s a fountain flowing deep … Father Abraham had many sons God is good – His love goes on forever He’s got the whole world in His hands I like to eat bananas and taste and see that the Lord is good If I were a butterfly I’d thank You Lord for giving me wings I’m going to set my feet on following You In the beginning God made the heaven and the earth and it was good Jesus love is very wonderful Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world Jesus went a-walking, a-walking by the sea, calling to His friends Joshua fought the battle of Jericho Jumping for God, jumping for God, it’s what I like to do Kumba-ya ma Lord, kumba-ya Mister Noah built an ark; the people thought it such a lark Mr Cow, how do you say to the Lord, “I love You” My God is so big, so strong and so mighty Ooh, what a sad day when the angry leaders killed Jesus Rise and shine and give God the glory, glory Sunflowers are fun to grow The Lord is my Shepherd, I’ll walk with Him always ’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus What kind of man is this? Who is king of all the earth? Zacchaeus was a very little man |
Sung Prayers
In addition to Christian songs, we use sung prayers at Mr Noah’s and four are recorded here. They are (1) a fun grace for snack time, (2) a thanksgiving at the end of the morning session, (3) a blessing for the end of the day, and (4) the same grace in its original form and style, as sung in nursery schools for a hundred years. |
